Atlas Arts On Air is an 8-week long series of virtual performances and live radio interviews with artists and SiriusXM Radio Host Laura Coates. What is it like to be an artist in the era of Covid-19? How are local artists addressing the issues of our times like discrimination, sexism, and loneliness? We’ll dive into conversations with artists this March-May 2021 to find out. We hope you’ll stay tuned, subscribe, and share, but also feel, heal, and enjoy the upcoming free virtual performances and conversations available on Youtube and all our social channels. All performances are free to stream, click the artist page below to view the concert on our website or on our Youtube Channel. "Marlene" is set in the dressing room of a Paris theatre where an aging Marlene Dietrich is getting ready for a singing performance. In intimate backstage conversations, she blisters many of her Hollywood contemporaries, reveals delicate memories of her countless affairs with famous lovers, and flirts with her assistant Vivian who is struggling to navigate the moods and high expectations of “La Dietrich.”
