Atlas Arts Lab presents ROLA Z: Make America Home
MAKE AMERICA HOME is an experiential one-woman show blending stand-up comedy, storytelling, and audience engagement to explore humor as resilience in the face of displacement, aging with audacity, collective healing, the body as witness, and the true meaning of home. Guest performers are also featured, fostering an inclusive and communal atmosphere.
A cathartic performance that transforms laughter into resilience—and the stage into a shared space of belonging for both artist and audience.
Part confessional, part celebration, it’s a marvelous Mrs. Muslim-ish homecoming: the story of a Lebanese woman who fled war in the 1980s and, in search of home, takes to the stage to tell it all—reclaiming her narrative with humor, movement, and unapologetic presence.
Coming of age at the tender age of 48, the stage becomes her renaissance. She discovers that sometimes the only way to heal is to dig deep, bare it all, and find strength in authenticity and community.
A debut experiential show bringing laughter, connection, and a shared sense of belonging.
