Join us for the Wonderlust New Works Festival, the culminating showcase of the Wonderlust Storytelling Institute’s inaugural cohort.
After months of developing their creative vision and transforming their cross-cultural experiences into original plays, the inaugural Wonderlust Storytelling Institute cohort is ready to share their work with an audience for the first time.
The Festival features staged readings of selected scenes from the six students’ original plays, brought to life by professional DC union actors. Drawing on experiences of living across cultures, these stories offer fresh perspectives and invite audiences to connect with experiences beyond their own.
Whether you’re a theater lover, interested in stories that broaden your understanding of the world, or passionate about supporting emerging DC writers, join us for an evening celebrating these storytellers, their work, and the power of storytelling to bring us closer together.
