James Joyce’s epic story, Ulysses, chronicling one day in Dublin, is brought to life in this inventive new show. Ireland’s most notorious book now playfully re-told for audiences aged 8 and upwards, and to all those who haven’t got around to reading it yet.

Combining live performance, intricate paper design, an original score and Joyce’s odyssey, this is theatre that will excite both young and old.

4 Stars Irish Times
“Ulysses for children: has the world gone mad? However unlikely it sounds – making a simple staged version of probably the most celebrated modernist novel, complex and famously difficult to read – Branar, the inventive Galway-based theatre company for children, has gone and done it.” – The Irish Times

“Branar has crafted something extraordinary in You’ll See: an enchanting, witty and beautifully inventive show that distils Joyce’s epic into a family-friendly hour of theatre magic.” – ReviewHub

“I absolutely loved this funny, sprightly, smart, charming and emotional show” – Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Children’s Laureate 2024 – 2026
