IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL ATTENDEES: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon is taking place on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Regular bus lines and DC Streetcar will have service interruptions during this time. There are “rolling” road closures throughout the day, starting at 6:00 AM in and around H Street, 13th Street and Capitol Hill areas. Road closures cease at 2:00 PM. Please refer to the maps for more information – http://www.runrocknroll.com/dc/the-races/road-closures/.
Our suggested options for arriving at the Atlas are:
- Metro to Union Station and walk. It is a 20-25 minute walk from Union Station.
- Drive and park. You will likely be several blocks from the Atlas. Please plan extra walking and extra time to search for parking, as it may be at a premium. We suggest 45-60 minutes extra time to assure you will arrive for your performance.
- Car share (Uber/Lyft) – we anticipate this option will be in high demand, and you will also need to plan for drop off away from Atlas and will need to walk for several blocks to the Atlas.
- The Rock n Roll Marathon planners are suggesting using the “WAZE” app for travel preparation and updates that day to get the most accurate information on closures.
