The Atlas Cafe Stage will be programmed throughout the festival with performances and showings to keep you entertained throughout your time at the festival. Enjoy these free events by accomplished artists, select community groups and Atlas Arts Partners while you sip a cup of coffee, relax and chat with a friend or while you pass through the lobby on the way to your performance of choice.

CAPITOL TAP

Capitol Tap was founded in 2010 by Lisa Swenton-Eppard to shape the next generation of tap musicians, dancers, historians, improvisors, technicians, teachers, and performers.

LOI LOI
Fri, Feb 24 | 9:15-10:15pm
Loi Loi is an indie-electronic group with an eclectic background of rock & roll, R&B, and soul influences. The group is comprised of the two-headed sibling/synthofile monster Johnny Fantastic and Kristie Di Lascio.

MONUMENTAL THEATRE
Sat, Feb 25 | 2-3pm
Monumental Theatre Company seeks to connect emerging artists, specifically those of the millennial generation, with the larger community by giving them a platform from which to promote their work to the public.

MAELSTROM
Sat, Feb 25 | 4:15-6pm
Maelstrom is a group of three young fiddlers from the DC Metropolitan Area. Their sound is recognized for its tight and creative harmonies.

NOT WHAT YOU THINK
Sat, Feb 25 | 7:15-9pm
A 13-person a cappella group that singssongs of social justice, humor, and for a day when peace will be the natural order of life.

MARYLAND CLASSIC YOUTH ORCHESTRA

The American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra is a youth program that serves approximately 400 students in the DC Area. Participants receive training from esteemed coaches and conductors while performing several times throughout the year.

MATTHEW MILLS

Matthew Mills is an instrumental guitarist from Northern Virginia. He combines contemporary acoustic music with the influences of Flamenco in every piece.

JAM CELLAR

Jam Cellar is a local swing dance organization based in washington DC. Their dance party demo will have you begging for more.

SKIP

Get your groove on with music from Mr. Skip perfect for the youngest music lovers. Presented as part of Family Fun Days Activities.

THE CULTURE QUEEN

The little ones will be inspired and entertained with the Culture Queen with her rich storytelling and self-affirming songs. Presented as part of Family Fun Days Activities.

NEY MELLO

Ney Mello is a Brazillian award-winning guitarist, composer and producer who’s been nominated for the prestigious United Nations International WCO award for “extraordinary achievement in the fields of the creative arts, holistic well being and humanitarian service”.

JARED “MK ZULU” BAILEY

Jazz trumpeter Jared Bailey has headlined in the St. Louis Jazz Festival in Senegal, performed with Grammy-nominated Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah and toured with award-winning R&B legend Ginuwine.

HERB SCOTT BAND

Enjoy DC native and saxophonist Herb Scott, a rising star in the DC jazz scene.
