During INTERSECTIONS Festival 2016, each Saturday morning the Atlas comes alive with performances and activities for all members of the family.  Mark your calendar for the dates and times below and bring the whole family for youth oriented performances and activities Saturday mornings during the Festival.  Our lobby will be filled with Music, balloons, clowns, instrument “petting zoos” and more to entertain and engage even the youngest arts enthusiast.  All lobby activities are FREE

-General Mischief Dance Theatre: Mischief goes Mobile/”Up and Away”

General Mischief Dance and kinetic artist Kevin Reese team up in an hour of playful dances culminating in a brand new collaborative work that centers around the puzzle of assembling a twenty-foot overhead mobile–the work of the many of community volunteers of the Mobilizing Our Community project at the Atlas. All ages.

Shakespeare for The Young’s play Midsummer Magic takes the characters of Titania and Oberon, Puck and Fairy, and Bottom the Weaver from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and, with a puppet of Shakespeare himself, brings the story to life for young children through soft body puppetry with movement and interactive play with the audience.  All ages.
