Taking inspiration from a love of traditional Colombian styles, Combo Chimbita has created their eclectic Tropical Futurist sound through years of improvisation and late-night jam sessions. Based in New York, they combine their Colombian roots with experimental music styles to forge a sound that gets audiences moving. Don’t miss this evening of passionate vocals, enthralling grooves, and trippy synths.

Gaiteros de Sanguashington is a DC-based band composed of six Colombian musicians who first came together to celebrate the 2014 FIFA World Cup. They play a variety of Colombian music, including Vallenato and Cumbia (popular folk music from Colombia’s Caribbean region) and Tropipop (a blend of traditional musical forms with foreign Latin genres such as salsa and Merengue).

Gaiteros de Sanguashington es una banda basada en DC, compuesta por 6 músicos colombianos de diferentes partes del país. Interpretamos una variedad de música colombiana, incluyendo Vallenato y Cumbia y Tropipop (una mezcla de formas musicales tradicionales con otros géneros latinos como la salsa y el Merengue). Los miembros de la banda de Gaiteros de San Guashington se reunieron por primera vez para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2014. La banda ha surgido como una de las principales bandas colombianas, reconocidas y amadas por la comunidad colombiana y latina.
