Director of Marketing and Communications

The Director of Marketing and Communications leads the creative and strategic initiatives in the marketing and promotion of the Atlas and its diverse programs in conjunction with Executive Director and executive leadership team to support organizational goals.

Assistant Production Manager (two openings, Sprenger and Lang Theatres)

The Assistant Production Manager (APM) is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Sprenger or Lang Theatres (as assigned) at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. The APM is an integral team member of the Operations department and thus provides support in other areas of the center, as needed.

Front of House Associate

The Front of House Associates are the first level of communication a patron has with the Atlas. The primary responsibility of the Front of House Associate is to provide excellent customer service to patrons who are attending the Atlas. Front of House Associates are assigned to work in the box office and to work as house managers.

Internships

The Atlas accepts internship applications (cover letter and resume) year-round. We have specific placements for one intern each semester in the fall, winter and summer. The intern assists the Atlas with its external affairs including marketing, development and community engagement. All resumes received for specific positions or the internship will be kept on file for one year. All information received for general consideration will be maintained for six months. If an interview is considered appropriate, an Atlas staff member will contact you. Due to the volume of mail received, we are unable to respond to telephone inquiries regarding application status.

 

Production Management Intern

The Atlas seeks a Production Management intern to work along side the Production Manager and Technical Director in a multi-venue performing arts center that features both rentals and in-house productions. Candidates must have basic technical knowledge in at least one or two areas of theatrical production as well as 5-­10 productions with administrative experience. Candidates must be extremely organized and eager to learn on the job and possess the discretion and flexibility to thrive in a busy theatre environment. The ability to work independently and proactively is a must. Internships are available on a part-­?time basis for a semester (fall, winter/spring, summer).
